This has been compiled from the Milton’s 2010 Budget and is now accessible to everyone! (Please let me know if you see any errors.) As part of my platform, the Town of Milton needs publish all town expenses online in an easy an accessible manner, as I believe in transparent, efficient, and open government. Show your support!

I assume that is 2008 Actual, 2009 Actual, and 2010 Budget. At budget time, staff should also provide columns for 2010 Indicated and 2011 Proposed Budget.
That type of display should prompt all councillors and observers to ask the right questions
That is wicked cool! This is exactly why we need more tech-savvy people on council.
The other thing I would love to see is those taxpayer costs broken down by household, i.e. what effect these various expenditures have on my family’s individual property tax bill.
